Piso Mojado

The Piso Mojado series is a succession of performances in which Tom Bogaert mounts a yellow multi-lingual safety cone onto a mooring buoy. This buoy travels to different bodies of water. As of yet Pisa Mojado-buoys were installed in Brooklyn, Staten Island and Miami. The interpretation of the piece is influenced by geographic context, and is based on input by local audience members.

Life jackets that Bogaert wore while installing the series have also become part of the piece, in the form of a series entitled Chaleco Salvavidas
