Canary Space Ship

In the spring of 2007, Tom Bogaert built a first Canary Space Ship. It is a complex of used birdcages, connected together through metal wire, glue, tape and wool.

Inside of the complex were three live canaries with aluminum bird rings that featured the artist's studio address, in case the space ship was intercepted by extraterrestrial beings.
